Dette ogs&#229; med flere plasser over teknologi kometen Steve Jobs og Mark Zuckerberg fra Facebook. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Til tross for at Gates ikke lengre sitter i sjefsstolen i Redmond, Microsoft, har han likevel opprettholdt mye makt i forhold til de andre i teknologisamfunnet ved &#229; drive verdens mest &#8220;innflytelsesrike veldedighet&#8221;. Denne veldedige organisasjonen er med navn The Bill and Meldina Gates Foundation, som igjen har st&#248;tte fra mange av verdens mest innflytelsesrike personer der blant annet Warren Buffet som en av de st&#248;rste bidragsyterne.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Forbes underbygger sin kommentar med at det nesten er umulig &#229; overtale en bedrifts magnat i dag til &#229; gi bort &#8220;halve formuen til filantropi&#8221;. Kort oppsummert &#248;nsker Google med denne algoritmeendringen &#229; gi store merkevarer et forsprang, samt hindre gode resultater innen organiske s&#248;k p&#229; grunn av unaturlig linkvekst. De &#248;nsker ogs&#229; en st&#248;rre fokus p&#229; &quot;trending topics&quot;, p&#229; samme m&#229;te som vi har sett i blant annet BingTweet.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Store merkevarer f&#229;r en fordel&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Med algoritmeendringen vil store merkevarer kunne f&#229; en fordel framfor mindre nettsteder innen visse s&#248;keord. Blant annet kan dette skje fordi oppdateringsfrekvens, domeneregistreringsdata, trafikk til nettstedet og s&#248;k etter merkevarenavn i kombinasjon med generiske s&#248;keord vil telle mer enn f&#248;r. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Unaturlig vekst straffes&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Unaturlig vekst i antall backlinks vil straffes enda hardere. Hvis antallet linker til siden din &#248;ker betraktelig, uten at det er en tydelig grunn til det (for eksempel en nyhetssak) vil dette i beste fall ikke p&#229;virke s&#248;keresultatene. I verste fall kan nettsiden straffes og sendes nedover i s&#248;kemotorresultatene. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Flere link-tekster med eksakt lik sammensetning av ord kan ogs&#229; straffes, eller i hvert fall ikke bel&#248;nnes p&#229; samme m&#229;te som f&#248;r. Det blir alts&#229; viktigere med stor variasjon av tekst i og omkring lenker som peker mot ditt nettsted. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Oppdatert innhold bel&#248;nnes&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Nettsider som oppdateres ofte, og sider som holdes godt ved like, vil f&#229; en fordel i forhold til sider som er mer statiske. Dette er kanskje ikke noe nytt, men det spekuleres i om denne faktoren blir enda viktigere enn tidligere.
